Directions from Charlotte on I-85 South ~

Take I-85 south through Charlotte and Gastonia to Exit 10B (Hwy 74 WEST to Kings Mountain/Shelby/Asheville)
Stay on Hwy 74 West (do not take any of the Business 74 exits you may see) all the way through Shelby (Past Wal-mart, Kmart, etc.)  – We are on the far west side of Shelby, so you will go all the way through Shelby to get here.
Look for the Hwy. 226 intersection that has a CVS and Ingles grocery store on the right hand side before the light.
You will go straight through this light at Hwy. 226 and go to the 2nd light after this (the lights are miles apart)
At the 2nd light turn right onto Plato Lee Road (there is a Marathon/Kangaroo gas station on the far right hand side)
Go . 9 miles and turn left onto Towery Road (it is the 2nd left hand turn and immediately after a bridge)
Our house is the 2nd house on the right:
3628 Towery Road, Shelby, NC 28150

Directions from Greenville, SC on I-85 North ~

Take I-85 North through Greenville and Spartanburg.
Take exit 92 (just past the bright yellow outlet stores near Gaffney on the left).
You are following signs for Boiling Springs, NC (there is a Boiling Springs, SC around exit 75, but this is not the right exit so make sure you pass that one).
At the light at the top of the exit ramp turn left.
Go over the bridge that goes back over I-85 and turn right at the next light onto a side road that parallels I-85… there will be signs for Hwy. 150 that you should follow.
When you come to a stop sign, turn left, this is now Hwy. 150.
Stay on Hwy. 150 for about 15 minutes…You will cross into North Carolina about half way on this road…And you will also cross a very high bridge over a large river (the Broad River) closer to Boiling Springs.
Once you come to the only traffic light in Boiling Springs, go straight through it…You are now on Main Street and not Hwy. 150 anymore (Hwy. 150 turns right at the light)
Go past a couple of banks and an Ingles grocery store on the right.
You will be turning right onto Homestead Road.
Stay on Homestead Road for about 5 minutes (Homestead will change names to Beaver Dam Church Road at the “round-about”)
At the “round-about”, you will enter it and come out of the 2nd exit – basically you want to be going straight through the “round-about” on Beaver Dam Church Road and not turning onto Skinner Road.
When you come to a traffic light at the intersection of Hwy. 74 (a 4 lane road) go straight over Hwy. 74 onto Plato Lee Road (there will be a Marathon/Kangaroo gas station on the far left hand side as you cross over)
Go . 9 miles and turn left onto Towery Road (it is the 2nd left hand turn and immediately after a bridge)
Our house is the 2nd house on the right:
3628 Towery Road, Shelby, NC 28150

Directions from Asheville on I-26 East & Hwy. 74 East ~

Take I-26 east through Hendersonville to Exit 67 (signs will say: Hwy 74 East to Forest City/Shelby/Charlotte)…The exit is not long after you have come “down the mountain” with the really good views to your right.
Stay on Hwy 74 East (going through Forest City)
You won’t really ever get into Shelby, but after Forest City the speed limit will go down to 55 MPH and there will be a flashing yellow light.
Go through this flashing yellow light and then at the 3rd normal traffic light after that, you will need to get in the left hand turning lane to turn left onto Plato Lee Road (there will be a Marathon/Kangaroo gas station on the left hand side at the light) – also at the light sign for Plato Lee Road is hard to see but the road to the right is Beaver Dam Church Road, so you are at the right light is you see the sign for this road instead)
Go . 9 miles on Plato Lee Road and turn left onto Towery Road (it is the 2nd left hand turn and immediately after a bridge)
Our house is the 2nd house on the right:
3628 Towery Road, Shelby, NC 28150

Directions from Hickory on Hwy. 18 ~

Starting from US-321 go 3.4 miles to follow NC-127 for 5.7 miles
At a stop light turn right onto NC-10 and go 10.2 miles until you come to a stop sign and turn left on Hwy. NC-18 towards Shelby
Go 18.7 miles on Hwy. 18 which will turn into W Grover St/NC-1861
Stay straight on Grover Street past the Cleveland Hospital on your right…Do not continue to follow Hwy. 18 at this point…And continue through the cluster of lights near the Hospital area…You will pass at some point the Water Treatment Facility along this road.
From the Hospital area go 2.0 miles to the next stop light and turn left onto NC-226 or Polkville Rd.
Go 0.8 mile and turn right at the light onto W Dixon Blvd or US Hwy. 74. There will be a CVS and Ingles grocery store on the left.
Go to the 2nd light after turning right onto Hwy. 74 (the lights are miles apart)

Please Note: If you are picking up goats or horses from any of the above directions ~ You will need to turn into our barn driveway which is before our paved driveway and the mailbox so it is easy to miss. After the first house on the right there will be a section of woods. We have a gravel driveway (covered with grass) that is just after the woods that goes to our barn area. Pull up to the gate and we will meet you there to open it – please do not open it yourself because we have guard dogs that need to be put in their kennels. Turn around in our paved driveway if you miss it. If you are pulling a trailer, GO SLOW after the first house so you don’t miss it since there is not a good place to turn around if you do miss it. You will also need to swing really wide to pull into the driveway since it cuts back more than a 90° angle. There is enough room to pull around in our barn area if you are pulling a two to four horse sized trailer. A larger trailer would need to be parked at the side of the road at the front of the house, so do not pull into the barn area if you are pulling a large trailer.
